This the second time I have used Craig's Tree Service. This time I had three dead ash trees. One of which was overhanging a neighbors house and one was overhanging my garage and powerlines. Craig's... Tree Service showed up early and got the trees on the ground with no problems using a boom truck. The crew used mats to keep from making tire ruts in the yard. They went above and beyond in stacking the limbs and tree trunk so that they could be easily removed. The peace of mind of having a professional fully insured company was worth the cost.read more

Craig's Tree Service did a great job. The large dead Pine they removed, and large Tulip tree they pruned, are right next to and hanging over my 2-story home. There were absolutely no problems at all.... The crew was safe, professional, friendly, and seemed to truly enjoy and have pride in their work. They left my yard spotless when they left. We recently downsized to an established neighborhood where the trees are about 60 years old. The tree in our backyard is beautiful and keeps our electric bills low in the summer. When we moved in, we... decided caring for this tree is a priority.I contacted Craig's Tree Service two years ago when many of the neighbors were having their trees trimmed by another service who happened to be in the area. They cut ALL the limbs off and left just the main trunks looking terribly sad up and down our street. For $800, mine could look like that too. I said I wanted another bid and called Craig. Luckily Craig had been caring for our tree for the previous owners and he said it didn't need to be trimmed. He advised feeding instead, and future evaluation for trimming. (His honesty saved me money!)Craig looked at my tree this year and it was time to trim. His team took out dead wood, thinned some areas and removed limbs hanging over the house. We were left with the same beautiful silhouette of the tree that we love, just thinned and hopefully healthy for a long time to come.I noticed that the neighbors who had the more aggressive trimming also lost substantial branches during some of the bad weather we've had in the past year. My tree, which Craig said didn't need to be trimmed, never lost a limb in these storms. I was impressed and it tells me he really knows what he's doing!read more
